  1. If you did something good, you deserve some sweets
  2. Skip the vegetable soup, go straight to dessert.
  3. If it's a diet food, you may eat tons of it.
  4. Make sure your loved ones eat healthfully but make bad food choices for yourself
  5. When dining out, scan the menu for adjectives like 'delicious', 'crispy', 'tasty' etc.
  6. Ask yourself frequently, 'Do I want a cookie or a chocolate?'
  7. If you want to try a diet, choose the one that is most frustrating to maintain.
  8. Sleep less to eat more
